Hello, my name is Tautgirdas Acas, ‘Tautis’ in short.
I am a second generation craftsman. Grew up in artistic family and since I remember myself I was really always there involved in a process. My Parents were leather goods makers and I so followed their path.
Things changed when I decided to move company, I stopped making leather goods and got into 7 to 5 work routine, but little worm insdie was constantly reminding me how much I love to make beautiful things for people.
The idea of starting to make rings was spinningin my head for a while and so after a few years of research and investigation I decided to make a start.
My rings are mainly made out of wood incorporating other materials and there’s limit of what materials I can turn into a ring. I have a very high standards for myself and what I do that I can provide best customer satisfaction.
On my list I have a variety of exotic hardwoods: Zebra wood, paduk, wenge, iroko, sapele, black walnut, redheart, olive wood. And of course, other more common woods: oak, bog oak, ask, maple, birch.
For those who are interested in any of the rings we can combine different woods of your choose or just choose from oneof my existing designs.
All my rings mainly consist of two woods put together ( it can be same wood) to make rings more durable. All my rings are covered with protective clear layer which provides clear layer which provides strength and water resistance properties.
T&C’s, care and after care:
I give half year warranty for all my finishes and so I refinish them for free, after that there is a charge to refinish the ring.
Make sure to size yourself before ordering because I don’t accept returns for miss-sizing.
As for all jewellery pieces don’t wear when doing strenuous activities, do not expose to water for prolonged periods (it is water resistant not waterproof), take off when using harsh products ex: soap, hand sanitizer, etc.
Once a month or so give it a buff with cotton cloth to clean off grease build up that comes from our hands.
Wood is a natural material and over time and exposure to sun can change colour.
