Description

This gorgeous frame is inspired but the celtic ogham engraved stones that can be seen throughout Ireland. Made from fused glass to create the look of it being like many of the ancient stones we see today.

What is Ogham Irish?
Ogham, also known as Ogam (modern Anglicised spelling) is an ancient written language that was used in Ireland and parts of the UK between the 5th and 9th centuries. The Ogham alphabet is the earliest known form of writing in Ireland and is seen as the first intellectual creation of Irish-speaking people.
What does Anam Cara mean?
Soul Friend/Anam Cara: “Is tusa m’anamchara”/”You are my soul friend”. “Anamcara” is the gaelic word of “soul friend” and is carved in this stunning sterling silver in ancient Ogham, the secret writing of the Celts. Our “Anamcara” pendant is a unique symbol of love, loyalty and two people coming together as one.
