Description

This is a stunning little book capturing the shore of lough Neagh in mid 2000’s, the shores have changed and this little book is forever book capturing the past water edge of South Lough Neagh. The shores captures are around Maghery, Bannfoot/ Charlestown, Derrytrasna, Ardmore, Oxford Island, Kinnegoe, Ballinery, Derrymore, Bartins Bay, Annadroughal, Tolan’s point, Morrow’s point, Columbkille point, Peatlands park and more.

Lip-an- lagin: signifies that a vessel is brimful, or that  the edge of a boat is even with the surface of the water.

This terms comes from Montaighism book based onUlster dialect words and phrases by  the late William Luton.
