One of the gorgeous things I love about Irish is the lack of direct translations to/from English. This ‘there’s no place like home’ Irish translation means more literally ‘there’s no hearth (fireside) like your own hearth (fireside).
Our original design combines hand lettering with beautifully intricate wildflowers forming the silhouette of Ireland. We screen print our wood signs in our studio here in Castlewellan, Northern Ireland.
Please note that due to the colour, nature and character of wood, every wood sign will look different. We also mix our own paints and each colour is individually hand pulled, varying the finish of each, making it wonderfully unique.
